New Hope Mills

Today it was too hot to work so we took a little road trip I had been wanting to take for some time. We went to New Hope Mills outside of Moravia and bought some grainy good things. We also stopped in Skaneateles, NY and wandered around (neither of us had been there before). Of course my camera batteries crapped out after shot #4, but I took a couple pix of the mill that I really like.

We stopped - ok *I* stopped at - Elegant Needles. It was smaller than I imagined it would be. The staff were very friendly. I wish I knew how to sew - their fabrics are *amazing* and wanted me to make something with them. But I only bought some new Kaffe Fasset sock yarn. I wasn’t really impressed with it when I saw it online, to be honest, but their sock yarn was limited and sock yarn does not count as stash

My coffee swap package arrived today! My partner is from Missouri and her last name is Brown - she did not include a note in the package and I do not know her Ravelry name
The coffee smells great for decaf and the large mug is very welcomed!

Also in the package were 2 different balls of Limbo Mexico yarn, 2 wonderful ceramic buttons and a washcloth for NY! Thank you!

I love it and will definitely cast this one on - as soon as I am done with my August Sockdown pair. Even though I have not done a STR kit since last January, I will do this one. I swear.
