Ravelry Summer Camp Swap

Posted by mobarger on Sep-8-2007

It came! It came! Partner Nicole sent a package to me, and it is wonderful! Stephanie Pearl McPhee’s “Secret Life of a Knitter,” and chocolate (instantly placed in fridge to counteract 95+ degree heat), Mary Kay Bath Fizzies, Indiana U temporary tatoo, and –

A great themed letter (I had a bit of a time opening it since my middle name is Grace, but it all turned out well).

A wonderful box of tea, and I also foresee many uses for the cool wooden box.

A really cool piece of pottery that has found an instant home on my desk. The colors match my office perfectly.

Sisu sock yarn in shades of green – quite awesome! I have read so much about this yarn but do not have any. I am really excited to try it out.

Piece de resistance: handpainted notebook! Isn’t that clever! Thank you so much!

  1. Nicole Said,

I’m glad that you liked it – it wasn’t as good as your package (the soap you make is awesome, btw), but it was the best I could do. I’m past the toe on one of the socks from the book already -one of these days, I’ll get some time to blog about it.
