It is so important to feel connected to our past and our loved ones. I know I cherish my grandfather more all the time, though he has been gone ten years. Your mother sounds so creative. I think it is in my basement minus her purple velvet mod dress. My sister had the other doll in the same family--the redhead can't remember her name. My mom is very crafty like your mother was, my sister and I had matching outfits for church and every occasion sewn on her machine(we weren't twins, but we were a year apart) during the 70s.
