OH! I love my Namaste Buddy, I keep fold-up scissors, stitch markers, and a sewing needle for kitchenering socks on the go. Also my little hook thingy for fetching dropped stitches, and needle point protectors.
Its like an emergency knitting kit and I keep it in my purse. Comes in very handy when knitting at work :)

First of all, I hardly see the "problem" that new sock yarn arrives.... ....

Secondly, better a large yoga mat bag than a small! I had the opposite happen with a fabric bag I made once. Maybe you can still use it?

Thirdly, I am also jealous that I am not in the club. :)

I have a buddy case and use it for my iPod. It keeps it contained with the earphones and everything and because mine is turquoise, I can always find it in whatever bag I threw it in.
