I purchased this Aade Lõng yarn from eBay for a steal. I mean $10 for 700 yards? Shipping was only $4. It transitions from color to color like Kauni. I intend on trying WendyKnits Tracey’s Shawl. I am not much of a lace person but she makes it look so easy, doesn’t she?



Ironically on the same day, this arrived. Clearly some knitting is going on in Estonia.

Have you heard about Camp Loopy? (Unfortunately the cutoff date for ordering yarn ended yesterday.)

My yarn arrived yesterday. It is String Theory Caper, a blend of merino, cashmere and nylon. The colors are Cobalt (Dark blue) and Carina, a subtly variegated greige. It’s not quite what I expected but it will work!


I will be making the Catkin Shawl. It’s a little hard to post the picture here but go to Ravelry and you can see it done up in a few color schemes. Can’t start until the 15th!
