Slow going
Posted by mobarger on Sep-4-2007
I have been working on the Montego Bay scarf (Summer 07 IK) for a couple weeks now. It’s painfully slow even though the stitch pattern is very simple. This is knit with Handmaiden Sea Silk.
Next up, my second August sockdown sock. Tick tock, yeah I know. September sockdown has started already but not for me. Yet. My September sock will be Grumperina’s Roza’s socks (IK, I think it was Spring 07) in Cider Moon barnwood.
Finally, here is what happens when you try to wind a skein into a ball without a swift. This has been lying in my stash bin for 2 years now and I am now doing a little bit a day, unravelling the knots and twists to get this thing tamed. It’s Lorna’s Laces in Girly Stripe.
